Tropicana Field® officially opened March 31, 1998-when the Tampa Bay Devil Rays played their inaugural game against the Detroit Tigers.
But this state-of-the-art St. Petersburg stadium is much more than the home of the Major League Baseball team;
Tropicana Field® also hosts concerts and non-baseball sporting events.
Tropicana's alliance with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays major league baseball team has been a home run. Tropicana Field®, The Devil Rays home in St. Petersburg, Florida, illuminates its dome after a home game win to resemble a giant glowing orange.
Tropicana Field® dome features the world's largest cable-supported roof covered by six acres of fiberglass and supported by 180 miles of cable. The Tropicana Field logo uses the familiar Tropicana typeface topped by the dome that is sectioned in the shape of an orange.
Tropicana Field seats 45,360 and features a state-of-the-art entertainment center, shopping plaza and food court. While enjoying a game or any event at Tropicana Field, visitors can choose from almost 300 concessions. Of course, there's plenty of Tropicana products - the official juice and juice beverages of the Devil Ray's, and Pepsi® -- the official soft drink, available throughout the stadium. The massive food court, "The Taste of Tampa Bay," is designed to offer fans shorter lines and an array of selections designed to make a trip to the ballpark a "culinary adventure."
Raymond's Rookies was created in 2003 and this year we are making it bigger and better. Tropicana Pure Premium® Essentials Healthy Kids has teamed up with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays to bring you more gifts, more great activities and the best of all.
A LOT MORE FUN!!!
